The signs of Fall started to appear everywhere this past week. Cool evenings and warm days have made the trees start to turn many shades of orange and red. The boys are falling into a routine and the days are ending sooner. Comfort foods are taking the place of salads and grilling and the warmer blankets have been placed on the bed.
1. I keep meaning to get out into my garden to cut it back, but something always keeps me away...probably laundry!
2. Made more muffins this past week. We used the blueberries we picked back in the summer.
3. A view from Community Day. We had the biggest attendance ever. Old time crafts, wagon rides and square dancing. So much fun!
4. My guys like to hike to the top of this hill. At the very top, is a pond with a canoe that can be used for enjoyment. It's a beautiful walk that my friend intorduced me to last year.
5. I'm looking for some new tv shows to watch. What are your favorites right now?

Love autumn, your pictures and signs of fall are lovely.
Battle of the Blades is one I really enjoyed last year and started again last night.
Love the fall season. Don't get to watch much t.v. but I love The Middle. It is soooo funny! HGTV is my listen in the background sound when I am busy with other things.
Evelyn in Newport News...Virginia
Pretty fall pictures!
My favorite TV shows right now are Mad Men (just started watching in season 3), The Office, The Closer, Rizolli and Isles (TNT).
What gorgeous pics, Jane! They make me wish I lived there, too!
we too are finding our routines.
attempted Hawaii 5-0
did not really grab my attention
i was thinking mad men, but it's just too late for me. 5:30 comes way to early. i need to look around too. and please don't speak of gardens! ack! there is rain all week here, so it won't happen now!
Love your pic of tomatoes. You must be in PA...that mountain looks familar.
My fav shows are castle, project runway, Chopped on foodtv. I am not high fashion, quite the opposite, but something about how creative they are on runway I just love. And it makes me want to be creative too! Or at least try...
I love your picures. Try Glee sometime. It's fun.
Oh that walk sounds so lovely, how wonderful to find a pond and boat at the top of a hill. I feel quite envious.
I would love to hike to the top of that hill!
We started watching Blue Blood, so far so good.
