2. As we were picking, I looked over the countryside and was thankful that my husband could find a job around here. I would miss looking at this beautiful land each and everyday.
3. After picking we went here. Not the actual show but for the massive flea and antique sale along the road to the show. Dealers set up a week in advance and you can shop until you drop. This is where you find your best deals...if you can beat the dealers to it.They tend to buy on the outside and then resell, at a greater price, on the inside.
4. I'm reading this. The recipes look good and very simple. As I have not been to Paris, the culture and food that he relates to goes right over my head. Someday, though, I will get there!
5. Ta DA! The finished treehouse. Here are a few pictures for now. I have a ton of others that I need to edit. As soon as they are done, I will put them all up for your viewing pleasure. The boys are super excited as is my husband. My family room didn't get painted on his stint at home, but this is much, much better. Well done big guy!

Yay, your husband got a local job!!! Congratulations. That was quick too! I'm really enjoying your 5 things posts.
Oh, that treehouse is incredible. Can I rent it for a week? :)
The flea market looks fabulous. Congratulations on your husband's new job.
the tree house is gorgeous!! think of all the years of fun ahead.
love the shot of your guys standing by the moose head! And I don't mean to imply that it was a good thing that your husband lost his job just before school let out, and spent the summer with his family, and built his guys an amazing tree house they will cherish forever, and found a new job nearby... but it does make me think that all things happen for a reason. i'm so happy for you.
Whoa - that is an AMAZING tree house. What a guy. My husband can't hang a picture without it turning into "a big project" with lots and lots of swearing, threats and promises of divorce (from me, of course.) I love reading David Lebovitz, but you pegged it exactly - sometimes you wish you were actually in Paris to know what he's talking about. And lastly, because apparently I cannot shut up today, I just saw an awesome looking recipe for "slab pie" on Smitten Kitchen (it was for sour cherries) that would be great for any blueberries you have left... It looked so good!
wait! i can't believe my EYES!!!!!!!!!
