Simply Still Day 5

Simply Still
Day 5

As I ran into Old Navy yesterday to find a whole new wardrobe of shorts for my youngest, I couldn't resist stopping just to look at the women's clothing. A half hour later my arms were full and we were set for our trip. I got this little t-shirt to go with the jazzy skirt that I made earlier in the week.

The I spied this breezy number....

and then this one.

While my friend Joslyn has been good about buying for her trip, I think all of you should be proud to know that I helped to jump start the economy this week. Happy weekend!

You also convinced me to sign up for a sewing class... I NEVER thought that would happen. But I want that darned skirt, darn it. Hope you have a great trip!

Rachel...good for you! It is the easiest skirt to make and soon you will have many of them! Can't wait to see what you do!

jane in an odd way i'm proud of you! as much as not buying anything is a big stretch for me, buying a whole new beach wardrobe in one fail swoop was maybe a stretch for you! I love everything you bought...maybe i could borrow something to wear at the beach ;-)

Thanks all! I left out the shot of the bikini I tried on. What was I thinking....Two kids and a stomach that hasn't seen sun in years. Must been a mid-life crisis moment :) jane

well, hello there...

I thought I might start writing again.  Not sure what I will want to talk about.  The guys have their own lives and are making...
