5 things...

Oops...didn't mean to disappear like that. In fact, I thought with Ryan's surgery I would have more time around here. Well, it didn't turn out that way. I've been too busy tending to the patient. It's back to school for him tomorrow. He's not 100% as of yet, but it's nothing alittle Tylenol can't cure.

1. I finished reading The Help this past weekend. It lived up to all the great reviews that I had heard. The ending was a bit quick, but other than that it was a good read.

2. I had to say no to a request for help today. I always feel terrible when I have to decline, but my plate is already so full there was no way I could take on another committment.

3. Have you seen this site. So funny!

4.Thinking about traveling to Boston and then on upward to Maine this summer. I want to take a trip with the boys and myself. I'm afraid they won't want to spend much time with me in the next few years. I want them to say, "remember that awesome trip we took with mom..."

5. It's a good night for sleeping. The air is cool and crisp. Feels more like Fall than Spring!
Happy week everyone!

Glad your guy is doing well! Your road trip idea sounds wonderful - i want to do the same in several years - waiting for the husband to get enough time off just won't do.

I liked The Help - but agree about the end.

I love the shots of the sun streaming in. Oh so warm and happy!

The Help is on my book group's reading list for September -- I can't wait.

And a trip to Boston & Maine sounds great. Definitely do it -- and if you need pointers for fun things to do in Beantown, give me a shout. I work at a fun Museum and know a lot of cool spots for kids.

LOVE the pics! Gorgeous. Especially the one in front of the mention of Boston. Can't think of why, though. Hm... maybe I know someone who lives in Boston? Hm... just who, pray tell, could it be?
