Link Love

Our last week of summer was spent in the Adirondack Mountains.  We've been making the trek northward (all of a hour and forty minute drive) for thirteen years.  This year was different somehow.  The boys just wanted to "hang-out" with the other kids that vacation in the same spot and I found myself wondering why we were there since we could do all of the same things at home.  I think it may have been a transition year, yet I'm not sure how just yet.  It felt good to step away from the computer for awhile and I did read two books so not all was lost.
We are still finding our way with school routines.  Both boys are running cross-country and it seems funny not to have anyone home at the usual time.
So it's Friday and time for the weekend.  Here are a few fun links I found as I made my way back to the computer.
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
I keep forgetting to mention my friend's blog.  She has an assortment of appetites in her household so mealtime can be tricky.  Hop on over and say hello to Pamela and tell I sent you!
I would probably never make this myself, but I sure would like someone to make it for me! It looks delicious and inviting and oh, so healthy!
This lamp would totally not fit into the scheme of my house.  But it's so cool for someone hip and a lot younger.  Weekend project anyone?
Remember paint by numbers?  Well, scroll down in this post and look at this awesome mural for a baby's room.  Oh, if I could do it again!....and no, I will NOT do it again!
This is a new blog to me and she's pretty funny.  I would love to have this pepper grinder on our table, but alas, I know my children too well and it would forever be in the sign for Love....hee.

As always, I loved your links! I even added the food blog to my list. The paint by number wall is insane; I love it but would never have the patience to do it. Enjoy the weekend!

Ah, your boys are growing up very quickly. A little bittersweet, eh?

Visited Pamela's blog and left a post (mentioned you). The spaghetti squash look yummy. Squash in on my list, now, for tomorrow's trip to the farmer's market.

Welcome to autumn (almost).
