Friday already!
This week included:
worries about the boys,
worries about our nation
a new knitting project
and an old one almost done.
A trip away for the boys for the entire day-thinking I would have the day to myself
and then my husband came home.
It's not that I didn't want him home (really!),
I just had the day planned...for me.
oh well...
On to what spurred my interest this week!
Need a last minute invitation. Or, maybe just a few. Check out these cute invites. Now I need to have a party!
I am in love with this site. It just makes me smile. And with raising these two boys, I need all the smiles I can get!
I have two of the three bags on this page. Of course they're in blue! I knew if I kept something long enough it would become popular again! I'm officially old!
Sweetest tablecloth that I ever did see. So easy to do too!
This just brought back so many memories for me. We used to have a small table in our kitchen for the boys. It was always stocked with homemade playdough. I can still picture the boys, shirtless with it all over their hands, bodies and of course in their hair. For those of you with little ones...go make some right now! Ignore the mess, you will be longing for that mess faster than you can believe.

I have, well, had, two of those bags, too! I wasn't smart enough to keep 'em! Oh well. Won't be the last time I'm not smart enough about somethin', that's for sure... have a great weekend - hope it's better! (And yes - do't you HATE when the hubbies come home unexpectedly? I end up working like a dog so he doesn't think I sit around eating bonbons all day. No knitting, no phones... it stinks.)
Love the links as usual. It took me a while to leave the site. From Me To You. I could leave that site open all day. I too, want to have a party with those invitiations. :)
Sorry to hear that you day alone didn't quite work out that way. Ah, well - there'll be other days.
Those cinemagraphs are phenomenal! I've never seen anything like this before. I'm heading off, now, to learn how to make them. Thanks for opening my eyes to this art form!
Hope your weekend is winding down to a restful close.
I believe I had The Field Bag, or something very similar. I thought it was quite spiffy and used it for work. It was never accompanied by cuffed shorts or a safari jacket. I like the process for the DIY tablecloth. Very cool. And playdough...it never goes out of style.
