Snow Day!

Lake Effect snow has set up over our part of the country. It has been snowing for 90+ hours. We have about three feet of snow in our yard. The weather forecast says more for tonight and a possibility of a Nor'easter for Sunday.
Bring it on!

Are you singing "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow"?

It's been freezing here since the beginning of November (no, it's not normal even for us in Oslo, Norway :-) ). Right now it's -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees F), I presume that means we'll hit -20 C (approx -5 F) tomorrow morning.

Snow? We've got measly 4 inches! When spring eventually comes around, it'll take forever for our flowerbeds to thaw.

Hoping for a mild and balmy - 5 C (~25 F) (but it's not happening within the first 7-10 days)

I hope you're enjoying these preChristmas days!

I wish we had snow. but in reality - if we had that much my town would shut down... maybe snow once I am done work - on the 17th.

OH so jealous.. I want snow but they're saying a nasty mix on Sunday here. I hope there wrong and it's all snow.. I also wouldn't mind a snow day things are to crazy here and a snow day would give us an unexpected "quiet"day.

I live South of Cleveland so we are in a secondary lake effect area for Ohio and we are certainly getting our share of snow since Sunday. Just depends on which way things shift if we get the Nor'easter or not, but I'm looking forward to some less busy time. I have knitting that needs to be done by 12/23!! - a sweater no less. Been reading you for awhile and love your style.

Gorgeous shots J! How fun. We've had a high of 34 for the past week here in VA but no snow - i'm so cold and it's not even pretty outside - wish it would snow already! Happy holiday season to you!

You are so lucky. I would love to be trapped at home due to lots of snow! Our roads would never be clear if we had that much snow!

Not sure where you are at in PA, but your pictures make me miss home, esp. this time of year. It has been cold here, but no snow. What I wouldn't give for a good foot and a snow day!
